Our US Made double braid nylon is recommended for docking, anchoring and mooring. Double braid nylon is a soft nylon cover with a nylon core providing good shock absorption due to controlled elasticity. Nylon rope is strong, dependable and resistant to ultraviolet damage and provides a much longer life than other lines. Double braid nylon produces a strong easy to handle anchor line. Today sees the start of the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed with the Moving Motor Show ahead of the weekend’s real petrolhead fun, and McLaren are out in force. The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C will be on show for the first time complete with its extra 25bhp, programmable engine note, remote passenger door opening and extra trim options.

The era of magnificent tail fins was born from the sweet optimism of the 1950s, when “The Future” was just around the corner and we were all looking forward to piloting jet packs, being served by robots and living in futuristic domed cities on the moon. You could call it The Jet Age, and when businessjet timeshare company Flexjet offered to sponsor the Rodeo Drive Concours this year, it suddenly sounded like the perfect theme for the show.
Drayson Racing aiming for Electric car World Land Speed Record
Thu, 30 May 2013The Drayson B12 69/EV – heading to RAF Elvington to break the EV land speed record. One of the best uses for electric car technology is to deliver copious amounts of instant torque for track cars – far more than an ICE engine manages – and Drayson Racing Technology is aiming to prove how much that electric power can help by taking its Drayson B12 69/EV to RAF Elvington on 25th June to attempt to break the land speed record for an EV. That record – 175mph – has stood since 1975 (which probably shows how little EV technology has really moved on in the last 40 years), but the low-drag version of the Drayson electric Le Mans prototype is aiming to break that down the 1.86 mile runway at Elvington.
