Anti-reversion mufflers specifically designed to increase low and mid-range torque. According to Hendren Racing Engines, "In 90% of the applications we have tested, our Anti-reversion chambers/mufflers will produce around 15-20ftlbs of torque more between 2,500rpm to 4,500rpm and 5-10 more horse power in that same RPM range than the Beyea muffler. Overall top-end power levels out at a gain of around 4ftlbs and 4hp. We have also seen significant improvement and similar gains with this muffler on Schoenfeld and Hedman headers." Ford Focus BEV (Electric) Frankfurt reveal
Thu, 17 Sep 2009The Ford Focus BEV Proitotype has been revealed at Frankfurt Ford are intent on bringing an electric car to the market as soon as possible, and intend starting trials of the Focus BEV in the New Year. The Focus BEV has been developed to participate in the ‘Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles’ ( a real misnomer) demonstration next year. The Focus BEV is driven by a 100KW electric motor which is powered by a 23kwh lithium-ion battery pack developed by Vauxhall’s new owner, Magna.
