YOU ARE LOOKING AT  A   "CLARK", MODEL "A" - MODEL "T"  STYLE HEATER.  THIS COULD DATE BACK ANYTIME FROM THE LATE 1800'S THROUGH THE EARLY 1950'S.  NOT SURE WHEN THEY STARTED MAKING THESE HEATERS OR FOOT WARMERS.

THIS IS THE TYPE OF HEATER THAT YOU WOULD USE IN YOUR CAR, TRUCK OR HORSE DRAWN BUGGY.  HOT COALS OR STONES WOULD BE PLACED INSIDE THE PULL OUT DRAWER.  THEN THE UNIT COULD BE PLACED ON THE FLOOR WHERE YOU COULD REST YOUR FEET TO KEEP THEM WARM.  IN ADDITION, A BLANKET COULD BE PLACED OVER THE UNIT AND YOUR FEET TO KEEP ALL OF YOU WARM.

It measures about 12" long by 7" wide by 3.5" tall. On one side it says, "The Clark Heater No.   No number is listed.  Maybe there was a label at one time or it was painted over.  I do not see any evidence of a number under the paint.

This would make a nice addition to your classic ride.  Or, because it is in such great condition, it could be used for the purpose it was intended.     That's up to you!     :-)

If it does not sell this time, it will be put back in storage for a year or two.  It may be relisted at a later date but prices on these just keeps going up.  So get it while you can...

2012 Ford B-Max - will get new 3-pot EcoBoost Reports of the imminent demise of the internal combustion engine have been greatly exaggerated. There’s plenty of life left in old technology yet, certainly enough to throw a spanner in to the benefits of hybrids and BEVs. And if an illustration of how the ICE is developing to cope with the needs of economy and emissions in this frugality motivated motoring landscape we now found ourselves inhabiting, we need look no further than the 1.0 litre, 3-pot EcoBoost engine Ford has developed.

Third Tesla Model S catches fire

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

Update: According to an Automotive News report, "NHTSA said it will contact local authorities about the latest fire 'to determine if there are vehicle safety implications that merit agency action.'" The agency had previously backed away from an investigation after determining that vehicle defects were not to blame for the fire in early October. Just after Tesla Motors reported a $38 million third-quarter loss and within a few weeks of two other car fires, a third Model S sedan reportedly burned on the highway near Smyrna, Tenn. The Tesla Motors Club forum supplied photos of the crash, which occurred around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, in addition to intense speculation on the cause of the fire.

Mon, 12 Mar 2012

MINI John Cooper Works Countryman with a man on the roof - Expect the Unexpected With the debut of the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman at Geneva 2012, MINI starts its marketing with another off-beat video. If there’s one things that’s a certainty in the world of MINI – apart from a new variant every four days – is that any new launch gets promoted with slightly bizarre videos. And the new MINI JCW Countryman is no exception.
