Yes, it still runs. Not sure if the pic will play as a video but I had this thing running two weeks ago. I bought it with the intention of building or buying a small boat and let the kids run around with it. It is a early vintage jet drive motor and should probably be in a museum.

At last year’s Worthersee Tour Volkswagen brought along a pair of Golf Cabriolets – the VW Golf GTI Cabriolet and the VW Golf R Cabriolet – signalling some proper performance from a drop-top Golf. At the time we commented that the Golf R Cabriolet would definitely be made, but by the time Volkswagen revealed the production version of the Golf GTI Cabriolet at Geneva in March we were moved to ask “What about the Golf R Cabriolet?”.
Buick to scrap trim levels
