100% SOLUTION DYED POLYESTER OUTDOOR CANVAS FABRIC
"ARCADIA" MARINE GRADE Marine Grade "ARCADIA" is approx 7 oz per square yard. It is "100% Solution Dyed Polyester" synthetic canvas with a light urethane back coating. A urethane coating is added to one side adding stability, increased water and mildew resistance, and minimal shrinking or stretch. COLORS WILL NOT FADE OR WASH OUT. This fabric is "UV" fade-proof, water proof, stain-resistant, mildew resistant, and easy to clean. Marine Grade "ARCADIA" is ideal for boat covers, bimini tops, awnings, sail-covers, weather guards, outdoor furniture and cushions, car covers, marine engine covers and any other use where the very best outdoor fabric is desired! The urethane on the back coating permits the material to be cut without having to allow for shrinkage/stretch or unraveling. No hot knife or surging is required to fabricate with "ARCADIA" fabric. For best results and lasting appearance, always sew your project with the fabric side exposed to the sun.

Thu, 01 Sep 2011Smart will unveil its new Forvision concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt motor as the manufacturer continues its preview its future design direction. In the last 12 months the company has revealed its Forspeed and eScooter concepts, with the latest addition designed to keep to the original ForTwo's green specifications. The Forvision uses the latest Smart electric drive system, which Daimler claims will add approximately 20 percent to the range of the current electric Smart, with an EV range of around 110 miles. The vehicle's paintwork and glass can reflect heat – on a hot day it can apparently cool the interior by around 20° C. The concept also has a glass roof, with Daimler is in the process of developing transparent solar charging technology.
NEVS completes Saab purchase

It looks like the Chinese, Japanese, Swedish Consortium NEVS has finally completed the process of acquiring the assets of bankrupt Saab, but it hasn’t quite got all it wanted. We reported last week that the process of acquiring Saab had been delayed as there were still issues over the rights to the Saab log, a logo owned by Scania and Saab Aerospace.
