2014 Audi A8: Price from £58,800
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The 2014 Audi A8 (pictured) costs from £58,800 Audi revealed its facelift for the A8 and S8 back in August but now, with first new A8 deliveries due in the UK in January 2014, Audi has managed to come up with a price for almost the entire A8 range (and the S8). The starting price for the new A8 starts at £58,800 for the 3.0 TDI quattro (the FWD A8 has bitten the dust) rising to a substantial £79,900 for the 4.0 TFSI quattro S8. So far, they haven’t come up with a price for the range-topping 6.3 W12 LWB A8.
KoenigSaab coming soon?
Fri, 29 May 2009Koenigsegg are in the running to take over Saab Saab were given Swedish Government protection recently (similar to Chapter 11) to try and find a suitor or funding to operate independently. Of course they can’t do that completely, at least not in the short term, as they are so tied in to GM’s platforms on their current and soon to be released cars. But Saab has a strong – if quirky – history and, with the right backing, could stand alone as a niche maker of aesthetically individual cars.
2011 Buick Regal to start at $26,995
Thu, 21 Jan 2010The 2011 Buick Regal will start at $26,995 for the CXL model when it goes on sale in the spring. The base car is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 182 hp. For a bit more power--and fun--enthusiasts can upgrade to the turbo model, which starts at $29,495.
