While the big manufacturers churn out the same old saloons, hatchbacks and SUVs, the quirky side of Geneva shows us what lateral thinking is all about. MINI Countryman Coupe to be production version of MINI Paceman

The MINI Paceman will become the MINI Countryman Coupe for production It looks like the production version of the MINI Paceman Concept is going to be the MINI Countryman Coupe. Yes, it is hard to keep track of MINI’s models, never mind their never ending concepts. Despite that you may remember the MINI Paceman that arrived at Detroit last year and which, at the time, we referred to as a MINI Countryman Coupe.

Bugatti’s 254mph Veyron Vitesse officially world’s fastest drop-top

The Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse has been officially confirmed as the world’s fastest open-top production car, having been clocked at 254.04mph. The milestone will be celebrated (naturally) with a limited run of special ‘World Record Edition’ Grand Sport Vitesses (which has been on sale since January 2012), with the commemorative cars sporting orange flashes to the carbonfibre bodywork, and orange wheels.
