Redesigned 2012 Toyota Yaris starts at $14,875; Sequoia, Tundra and Sienna prices up slightly

The base price of the redesigned Toyota Yaris small car starts at about $1,000 more than the current car. Meanwhile, prices are only slightly changed for the 2012 Toyota Sequoia, Tundra and Sienna models. IED reveals updated Cisitalia 202 E concept

IED will reveal the Cisitalia 202 E Concept – a modern version of the Pininfarina-designed 1947 Cisitalia 202 – at next month's Geneva motor show. Design students of the Master of Arts in Transportation Design developed the Cisitalia 202 E (Evolution) Concept at the IED in Turin as part of their work experience program during the 2010-2011 academic year. IED has announced that, "the concept faithfully reflects the design of the historic vehicle, with dimensions and power aligned with modern times." Technical partners of the project include CECOMP (prototype construction), Pirelli, OZ Racing and ABET Laminati.

Toyota GT86 gets 325bhp from Gazoo Racing – again

Toyota’s renegade Gazoo Racing are teasing another Toyota GT86 with 325bhp – the GRMN FR Sports Concept Platinum – for the Tokyo Auto Salon. There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding the Toyoya GT 86 (and the Subarua BRZ too) and the likelihood that it will get forced induction at some point to offer a chunk more power than its standard 197bhp. It’s always seemed likely that Toyota and Subaru would add a supercharger or turbo (or both) to their cars to give a properly powerful option.
