Mitsubishi Delica D:5

Tue, 07 Nov 2006

Arriving in Japan early next year is the new Mitsubishi Delica D:5, the fifth generation of a model series that began in 1968, and the third new model the company has launched this year after the eK Wagon and Pajero. Mitsubishi says the Delica was developed to 'fuse the comfort of a minivan with the powerful performance of an SUV' and uses 2.4-liter engine with four-wheel-drive. The styling of the Delica takes its cues from the Mitsubishi Concept-D:5 unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, with strong graphics and perched stance.

Audi A7 Sportback (2010) first official pictures

Mon, 26 Jul 2010

This is the new Audi A7 Sportback, a sleek hatchback designed to take on the next-generation Mercedes CLS and the forthcoming BMW Gran Coupe. It’s a bigger brother to the already established A5 Sportback, and underneath the five-door skin is the same platform that will underpin next year’s more sedate A6 saloon. Audi claims the A7 Sportback offers the sporty elegance of a coupe, the comfort of a sedan and the practicality of an estate, though if you just want either of the last two an A6 saloon and Avant based on the same platform will appear in 2011.

Fioravanti expands into China in partnership with Eastone

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Renowned Italian design house Fioravanti has formed a partnership with Shanghai-based design and engineering consultancy Eastone. The aim of this powerful duo is to deliver a wide range of design and build services directly to Chinese OEMs, with the first fruit of their labors being a concept car for Chinese manufacturer BAIC, to be unveiled at the Beijing auto show. For the first time in their own country, Chinese OEMs can now benefit from the time-served capabilities, knowledge and car culture typical of a leading Italian design house, while simultaneously gaining from the local knowledge, strong relationships and powerful commercial strength of a domestic design company.
