‘Big Red London Bus’ returns
Sat, 13 Nov 2010The 21st Century 'Routemaster' Double-Decker Bus will be in service by 2012 I doubt we can speak for everyone who visits London. But from our perspective London is a poorer place now the iconic Routemaster red buses are relegated to the odd heritage route and pay-to-see tourist trip (and we’d have to say the same about Mercedes Taxis – nicer places to be but they don’t look right). Our enthusiast side says the owners should be out driving these spectacular pieces of machinery, but something tells us that if you have a Gran Turismo in the rumpus room, there's probably another one in your garage, too.
Land Rover triggers rumours of ‘Landy’ SUV
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Jaguar Land Rover has trademarked the name ‘Landy’, sparking more rumours of a smaller urban SUV based on the Evoque. The new model could possibly feature styling similar to the DC100 concept, and will be a rival to the likes of the BMW X1 and upcoming Audi Q1. On Bing: see pictures of the Land Rover DC100 concept Find out how much a used Land Rover costs on Auto Trader The trademark application was made in December, reports Autocar, and will cover everything from vehicles to accessories and even franchising for dealerships.
