DESCRIPTION: Art deco speed boat racing trophy in white Plaskon plastic with brass sections. Removable plate reads Merrimack Valley Boating Assoc. 1953 Class D1 2nd. Outboard speedboat trophy top is 3 3/4" long. Trophy stands 10 1/4" tall overall and base is 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" across and weighs 1 pound and 3 ounces and is in excellent condition. I am listing quite a few speedboat trophies with buy it now prices and will consider reasonable offers. Can combine sales to save you shipping costs. Nissan and Fiat marketing heads trade insults over 'visual pollution'
Thu, 06 Dec 2012A war of words has erupted between Fiat and Nissan's marketing departments over their electric vehicle designs, the Leaf and the 500e. Matt Davis, head of Fiat product marketing, told Bloomberg News before the launch of its all-electric 500e at the Los Angeles show last week that "ugliness is probably one of the worst forms of pollution," seen as an indirect attack on Nissan's electric offering. The then 500e came under attack with Nissan criticizing the fact that it was created only to meet Californian emissions requirements.
Late-brakers are 'biggest irritation on the road'
Thu, 26 Sep 2013DRIVERS WHO brake at the last minute and then turn without signalling are the most annoying on the road, according to a new poll. 2,000 people were surveyed by First Bus who then compiled the 50 most annoying motoring bugbears, with late brakers topping the chart. High parking charges also appeared in the top ten, as did dangerous behaviours such as tailgating, being cut up, drivers using mobile phones and motorcyclists weaving through traffic.
