DESCRIPTION: Art deco speed boat racing trophy in white Plaskon plastic with brass sections. Removable plate reads Merrimack Valley Boating Assoc. 1953 Class D1 2nd. Outboard speedboat trophy top is 3 3/4" long. Trophy stands 10 1/4" tall overall and base is 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" across and weighs 1 pound and 3 ounces and is in excellent condition. Packing: When shipping paper items, they are protected by plastic bag and placed between 2 pieces of cardstock and placed inside a priority mail flat rate or a manila envelope. Additionally, a note saying "Please Do Not Bend" is written in marker on the envelope. All items that are boxed go individually in plastic bags, are wrapped in newspaper with newspaper packing all around in stiff cardboard boxes.
