This unit was purchased for my aircraft however I decided to go with a different unit.  This unit has a manufacture date of 10/01/2008, and the battery is due to expire 12/2013.  

You can purchase a new battery P/N:  455-0012 for about $170.00

This unit does NOT come with a whip antenna, and is missing a small hex nut.  Comes with all parts show in the picture.

Unit will ship out via Fed Ex 2nd day for a flat fee of $25.00 within two days of receiving confirmation of payment.

70-year-old Bugatti Type 64 chassis gets a body, the old-fashioned way

In a workshop north of Detroit, craftsmen have been at work for months pounding pieces of aluminum into panels. The panels will eventually cover a Bugatti chassis that has been bodyless for more than seven decades. Three Bugatti Type 64 Coupe chassis were built in 1939 by Jean Bugatti, and two of them got bodies before Bugatti was killed while testing the Le Mans-winning Type 57 C “Tank” in August 1939.

Changan opens new European Designing Center in Turin

Changan celebrated the opening of its European Designing Center in Turin, Italy, last week as part of its celebration of the historic company's 150th anniversary. An audience of VIP guests and press were given grand tour of the new facility located in Rivoli near Turin after an opening ceremony filled with the pomp and pageantry we've come to expect from the Chinese car industry. The new 11,000 square meter European Designing Center is Changan's latest move to grow its business globally, having already established research and development centers at five Chinese locations as well as in Detroit USA, Nottingham UK, and Yokohama Japan.

Porsche is entering the hybrid-hypercar market this fall with its pretty 918 Spyder. We saw the first concept 918 way back in 2010, and we've been seeing official photos and video of 918 pre-production mules testing for quite a while now. The early impressions of the driving experience are in, and from what we understand, it's pretty incredible.
