Here is a modern Cometic composition type head gasket for your 2.9L Aston Martin DB2/4 or Lagonda 2.9L. The original head gaskets on these cars were a multi-layer copper. We had Cometic make these composition head gaskets for us and we have been using them here in the shop for a couple of years with great success. They are a fraction of the price of the copper type gaskets. You still need to use the rubber o-ring in the oil feed hole at the front of the gasket just like the original. We use spray Copper Coat on these for the ultimate in sealing. We also have all of the individual engine gaskets for these vehicles in stock so we can build you a complete head gasket set if needed. Please see our eBay store as we also have this gasket for the 2.6L and MKIII DBA engines.

Fri, 28 Aug 2009

The MINI Roadster caught on a poster at a MINI 50th Event We had a whole heap of information earlier on this week on the MINI Coupe Concept that BMw are bringing to Frankfurt. But we had nothing on the MINI Roadster / Speedster, even though we know that MINI has produced a roofless version of the MINI Coupe. But a quick witted visitor managed to grab a snap of the poster you see above at a MINI 50th private party, which at least proves that the MINI Speedster is coming to the party in Frankfurt next month.
