Ferrari 458 Speciale stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Tue, 10 Sep 2013This is the Ferrari 458 Speciale, debuting here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – and it’s the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 model the iconic Italian supercar builder has ever produced. It’s not just the 458’s engine that’s received some attention though, a new trick traction control system and interior details to die for carve this out as potentially one of the greatest Ferraris of all time.
New Hyundai Santa Fe goes butch with Andy Torbet
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Hyundai has roped in extreme adventurer and TV presenter Andy Torbet as a Hyundai Brand Ambassador to demonstrate the rugged side of the new Santa Fe. In fact, Hyundai has gone about as far from fluffy stuff as it can by getting extreme adventurer, and sometime TV presenter, Andy Torbet on board as a brand ambassador for Hyundai, and throwing him a new Santa Fe to tackle his rugged adventures. Andy is busy writing a book about extreme adventures in the UK and is travelling round the country to the UK’s most remote spots, so Hyundai found this a great opportunity to get him in the new Santa Fe as he tackles stuff like rock climbing and exploring flooded mines (and not doubt lots of other butchness too).
MotorExpo London 2009 – a quick look
Mon, 08 Jun 2009Merceeds Benz E Class is just one of the exhibitors at London' MotorExpo 2009 So it looks like, with a few exceptions such as the Geneva Motor Show, we will have to make do with ‘Boutique’ style shows. But at least they’re usually free and you do get pretty good access to the cars. And this week sees MotorExpo open for business in London’s Canary Wharf, with a reasonably impressive range of manufacturers showing up to display their latest wares, and a smattering of UK debuts to boot.
