Here is a rarity for your consideration-- a Lucas HF1748L low note horn that is the one specified as original equipment on Austin Healey 100-4 (BN1 and BN2), 100M, 100-6 (BN4, BN6), and 3000 Mark I (BT7, BN7); Jaguar XK 140, XK150, Mark VII VIII & IX, Mark II; and Aston Martin DB3/S. This one has the brass identification plate on the back showing it to be Lucas part number 70063, manufacture date May, 1961. These are hard to find in any condition, NOS ones are nearly unheard of now. It has a little paint missing from the mounting bracket, but that appears to be a factory flaw (little attention was paid to those details back in the day). Tested and working. Good luck bidding!! Sat, 21 Jul 2012Fernando Alonso put his Ferrari on pole in Hockenheim for the 2012 German Grand Prix, with McLaren trailing far behind. It’s not just the UK that offers F1 a wet experience, the 2012 German Grand Prix in Hockenheim did a very good impression of the British weather for today’s qualifying. Star of the show – once more – was Fernando Alonso who put his Ferrari on pole position for the second time in a row, comfortably beating second place Sebastian Vettel who was half a second slower, just in front of team mate Mark Webber.

Entitled 'Sharing Visions', the event was a platform for the established supplier of virtual prototyping and virtual marketing tools to demonstrate the services it supplies to various industries, principal among which is the automotive design industry. While many of the presentations revolved around the integration of RTT's software to streamline the processes related to marketing and product development, some reflected on the software's ability to facilitate creation and gauge public perception.

Honda’s display at the Tokyo Show is going to be the biggest of any car maker. The headline act – certainly from a petrolhead’s point of view – is probably going to be Honda’s Small Sport EV Concept.
