Austin-healey 100-4 100-6 Used Original Storage Case Top Bows? on 2040-parts.com
Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut, United States

This is a used STORAGE CASE that we found in a lot of Austin-Healey 100-4 and 100-6 parts. I am not sure what was meant to be stored in it, top bows? I have seen similar material that housed tonneau bars. It is about 44" long overall. Opening is about 12" and tapers to about 6". The stitching has come apart in several spots and some of the inner padding is worn. There is one cut in the side and possibly some other splits. It is as pictured and should restore nicely. If you happen to know what it is for, I would appreciate to hear from you, thanks. SEE My Other Listings for more Austin-Healey 100-4 and 3000 parts. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.

Designers dress up Mini Cooper
Tue, 03 May 2011Canadian design duo DSquared2 has released initial sketches of the Mini Cooper Countryman it outfitted for this year's Life Ball, which is on May 21 in Vienna, Austria. Each year, the small-car maker commissions designers to dress up a Mini to be auctioned off at the Life Ball, which donates proceeds to the fight against HIV and AIDS. The “Red Mudder,” as the car is called, is branded with a maple leaf on both doors and a DSquared2 logo on the front shield and wheels.
Vauxhall Corsa gets a 2010 eco facelift
Thu, 19 Nov 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 19 November 2009 00:01 Blink and you'll miss it – but your accountant won't. The new 2010 model year Vauxhall Corsa has been nipped and tucked, tweaked and polished to produce an impressive average 13% fuel saving across the range.Five out of the six Corsa engines now produce less than 125g/km and the 2010 Corsa Ecoflex diesel now manages up to 76.3mpg (on the Government's not-especially-representative combined figures). How have they made the Corsas so much cleaner?Just good old-fashioned engine tuning, apparently. Most models also come with an eco gearshift indicator to guilt-trip drivers into shifting up at the earliest opportunity.Vauxhall claims it'll sell more sub-125g/km cars than any other model range in the UK in 2010; all manual gearbox Corsas will qualify for free tax discs from next spring when Britain's new VED rates come into force.Anything else new on the 2010 Corsa? It's not just fuel-saving, miser-making tips.
Cannonball Run seminar at Amelia Island was one for the ages
Mon, 21 Mar 2011I don't think I've been to a bad car show, and that includes the local Kamaro Klub in the Dairy Queen parking lot. But I tend to judge the shows by the afterglow--how much you remember a day or two after the event. I tend to remember a lot after every Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, and that is mostly because the founder, Bill Warner, uses his annual North Florida show to do exactly what you and I would do if we ran a big show--invite our heroes to come talk and invite the cars we'd like to look at ourselves.
