Volvo poised for V8 Supercars entry Down Under in 2014

Volvo Polestar Racing will enter one of the world’s biggest touring car categories with a pair of V8-powered S60s, joining Nissan, Mercedes, Holden and Ford (which is rumoured as potentially departing the series). Mercedes-Benz unveils AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept
Mon, 18 Nov 2013Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept that will be featured in the upcoming Gran Turismo racing game. The concept features bulbous wheelarches and a long hood stretching back to the pushed-back cabin, designed to emphasize its aerodynamics, while the grille is a reinterpretation of the wide Mercedes-Benz sports car grille with the central star. It also features gullwing doors and side-view cameras, together with racing-inspired elements such as the release catches on the hood and fuel caps positioned on the roof.
Smoking in cars to be banned

The vote does not force the government to bring such a change into law, but has passed with a substantial majority and the recommendation is seen to have substantial public support.
