Mitsuoka shows the Himoko Roadster – or is it a Morgan?

The current Mistsuoka range contains, amongst others, the Viewt, which is a MKII Jag look-alike, and the Galues, which pays homage to Rolls Royce. And now they’ve launched a new car – The Himoko Roadster – which is to all intents and purposes a Morgan. You’ve got to love these cars.

Arizona auctions: Valley of the dollars

The next chapter in the battle for auction supremacy will commence this month, when the auction giants gather under the sun for the annual Arizona auction week. Leading the charge is perennial powerhouse Barrett-Jackson, which gathers lots of cars and automobilia under one massive tent. Cars start hitting the block for the six-day auction on Tuesday, Jan.

Concept Car of the Week: Dodge Deora (1967)

Half concept car, half custom but all awesome, the Dodge Deora was designed by former GM designer Harry Bentley Bradley for the famous car customizers the Alexander brothers who wanted to build a radical custom truck using one of the Big Three's new cabover mini-pickups. They relied on Bradley's futuristic drawings to seduce Chrysler who eventually agreed to provide a stripped down A100 truck for them to customize although the final design shares almost nothing with the original donor car. The cabin was radically chopped and integrated into the rest of the body and – after its suspension was also lowered – the overall height of the Deora was reduced by a whopping 380mm.
