AUTO METER's SPORT-COMP Series analog gauges are one of Auto Meter's most versatile gauge lines. A modern black dial face and silver Super Bezel are added to the trademark Auto Meter race styling and accuracy.

The Sport-Comp ruggedness and trademark tough appearance have become the standard in all forms of racing along with high performance street machines. AUTO METER's original Monster tachometers set the style for high performance tachometers with the 5" dial face and fluorescent red pointer for quick glance viewing. All other gauges are compared to the Sport-Comp gauge line. This series is race proven yet still affordable to the average racer. Street machine enthusiasts have often used this series to create a custom race look in their cars. The Sport-Comp series is still one of the best all around buys in high performance instruments.

The Aston Martin Vanquish (pictured) launch in 2012 contributed to AML’s losses We reported just the other day that Aston Martin had axed the Cygnet after woeful sales, and it’s not just the Cygnet that hasn’t been selling well. In fact, Aston Martin sales in 2012 – 67,500 units – was still 42,500 down on its pre-recession sales levels of 110,000 cars in 2007 and that lead to yet another loss. Aston Martin has posted pre-tax losses for 2012 of £24,6 million on sales of £461.2 million for 2012, a worsening position over 2011 which saw losses of £21.2 million.

Ferrari 599 successor to debut at Geneva show

    Mon, 20 Feb 2012

Ferrari has confirmed that the follow-up to the 599 Fiorano will debut at the Geneva motor show next month. The latest in Ferrari's long line of front-engine V12 GT cars, which stretches back to the 166 Inter of 1948, it's rumored to boast in the neighborhood of 700 hp. That's roughly double the power of the 365 GTB/4 pictured above, which Dan Gurney and Brock Yates famously used to cross the country in 35 hours and 54 minutes back in 1971.
