The hugely appealing Ferrari 458 Spider has made its UK debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside the new, more powerful California – the Ferrari California 30. The new 458 Spider – which, if you could still see the engine at the back, would make you wonder who would still but the 458 Coupe – gets a very clever, fully retractable aluminium hard top which is a full 25kg lighter than a comparable cloth top.

With McLaren locking out the front row of the grid in Monza, will the 2012 Italian Grand Prix see the Woking team dominate? Spa saw Jenson Button drive brilliantly for a lights to flag win, and here at Monza Button is riding shotgun for Hamilton’s pole as the 2012 Italian Grand Prix looks set to see the resurgence of McLaren continue. This time it was Lewis Hamilton who dominated from the lights – only briefly losing the lead during a pit stop – after a clean start saw him put clear air between the McLaren and a fired-up Massa who managed to wedge his Ferrari between Hamilton and Button before the first corner.

College Exhibition: Strate College Degree Show 2004

Sep 20, 2004 - Graduating Transportation Design students at France's Strate Coll?ge displayed their Diploma projects in the school's annual degree show, held at the central Paris school in June. Go to Photo Gallery 220 photos Strate Coll?ge is one of the leading European schools for transportation design, and has become a major source of recruitment for automotive design studios in France as well as internationally. Graduating diploma student Thibaut Doneux presented 'Skin Deep', an interior concept for Renault.
