Interior Motives Design Awards 2012

At a glamorous awards ceremony at the Espace Clacquesin in Paris earlier this evening, the world's top designers and automotive journalists gathered together to watch sponsors Peugeot and Volkswagen reveal the 2012 Interior Motives Student Design of the Year: ‘Autopool' by Siavash Jafari Jozani and Mina Kasirifar from the University of Tehran. At the end of what was a memorable event, the two Iranian students walked away with one of the most prestigious accolades in the automotive design industry and a cash prize of $5,000. Infiniti G37 Coupe

The New York Auto show, rapidly gaining respect from automotive manufacturers around the world, will be the stage for the release of the all-new 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe, the second generation of the G-series coupe. The overall styling of the G37 faithfully follows Infiniti's 'Vibrant Expression' design identity, shown first by the G sedan. It combines strong, robust lines with flowing, rich surface volumes which resembles a well-built, muscular athlete.

Video: Chevrolet engineer Oppenheiser talks 2012 Camaro ZL1

What we have here is a little teaser video of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 featuring chief engineer Al Oppenheiser. It was filmed at the Camaro Homecoming Event in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, in June. Oppenheiser gives us a look at the 6.2-liter supercharged Camaro, explaining how airflow will enter the front grille and be drawn away from the engine with the hood vents.
