Vauxhall Insignia facelift stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Ten years on from the very first Insignia concept, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2003, Vauxhall is showcasing a new, facelifted Insignia here at Frankfurt 2013. Part of the update to the Insignia is a new internet connectivity feature, which should make life on the road for travelling professionals a bit easier – now you can locate your nearest non-VAT qualifying hot food snack retailer in next to no time… We’re also fans of the rationalised trim range, down from 14 grades to eight for the new car. And the company's vice president of marketing isn't slowing down anytime soon: In a wide-ranging interview with Advertising Age, an affiliate of AutoWeek, Ewanick let drop that the automaker will return to the Super Bowl in 2011; that an ad campaign will break next month for the Chevy Camaro; and that there's a new tagline coming for Cadillac, "The new standard for the world." "We have so many projects in the works right now," he said.
Audi introduces stop-start for auto ‘boxes

Audi launched stop-start on some of their cars back in May, and now they’ve announced that they are to fit stop-start to A3s equipped with the S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission, which is big step in the right direction now auto boxes are so good and the option of an auto ‘box is high on many buyers’ priority list. The stop-start is going to be made available on the A3 1.6 TDI and A3 1.4 TFSI.
