Leonardo DiCaprio launches Formula E racing team

Formula E Star of the silver screen Leonardo DiCaprio has launched his own racing team. Called Venturi Automobiles, the new motorsport outfit will campaign a single-seater racing car in the first season of the Formula E all-electric championship next year. Who's Where: David Hilton appointed Head of Exterior Design for Bentley

David Hilton has been appointed Head of Exterior Design for Bentley Motors, based in the UK. The super-luxury brand – owned by the Volkswagen Group – is headed by CEO Wolfgang Durheimer, who is also in charge of Bugatti design development. US-born Hilton replaces Raul Pires in Crewe, Cheshire, after he left Bentley at the end of 2011 to join VW-owned Italdesign.

Porsche Museum opens in Stuttgart

Porsche will open the doors to its new museum in Stuttgart tomorrow, January 31. With a collection of 80 vehicles and three exhibit areas spanning the periods before and after 1948, the Porsche Museum includes an array of iconic vehicles and celebrates the outstanding technical achievements of Professor Ferdinand Porsche during the early 20th century. Located in the Stuttgart suburb of Zuffenhausen, where Porsche produces the 911 model series and all of its engines, the new museum was designed by Vienna-based architectural firm Delugan Meissl - which beat 170 other firms in a race to design the building in 2004.
