Bare Speed Red 3" Inlet Hose for 2002-2007 Subaru WRX / STi

There are two reasons to change your 2002-2007 Subaru WRX, 2004-09 STis OEM turbo inlet pipe: The first reason is that the factory inlet pipe is very restrictive. Its thin diameter and corregated design reduces air flow and robs your car of horsepower. The second reason is the factory inlet pipe is a very cheap plastic material. When you upgrade to a new turbo, this pipe tends to crack or not fit on the new turbo during installation. To fix these issues Bare Speed offers their hard turbo inlet pipes! The Bare Speed WRX/STI wrinkle red or polished aluminum intake pipes are 3" in diameter to allow more, and smoother, airflow to your turbo.   Its simple design allows you to easily install this hard pipe under your manifold with minimal work. Unlike competitor's silicone intake tubes, there is no flexing, collapsing under pressure, or fitment issues. Bare Speed's 02-07 WRX/STi intake pipe was designed to use all your factory hoses. Bare Speed turbo inlet pipes are purchased with silicone couple for a stock WRX/STI turbo with a 3" silicon coupler for larger, aftermarket turbo compressor inlets (select coupler size and pipe color below). Each Bare Speed inlet tube kit includes all necessary hardware, silicone coupler. The Bare Speed WRX/STi inlet pipes will fit most short ram and cold air intake kits, as well as the factory intake pipe.

Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Last month we brought you some intriguing spy photos of a Porsche 911-fighting Mercedes-Benz coupe -- possibly to be called the SLC, or even the next SLS AMG (it's all a bit unclear at this point) -- but layers of camouflage made it a bit tough to see what the car will look like.
