Chevrolet Corvette C7 mule caught testing
Thu, 19 Apr 2012Editor's Note: The video attached to this story has been removed from Youtube and is no longer available. Chevrolet's C7 Corvette was caught testing out on the open streets, and Autoweek has the video. From the short YouTube clip, this C7 Corvette appears to be wearing different wheels than the C7 that Autoweek published photos of earlier this year.
Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (2012) first pics
Tue, 22 Nov 2011These are the first official shots of the Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, which goes on sale in March 2012. The convertible top still looks as if it was made of soft fabric, but it actually consists of three semi-rigid lightweight panels coated with a novel furry material, which conceals the cutlines. A fabric top layer finishes things off, and is claimed to be very soundproof, while the rear glass screen is heated and scratchproof. So the new Porsche 911 Cabriolet is a bit of a porker?
The next presidential limousine might look like this
Tue, 18 Mar 2014A few days ago, the United States Secret Service posted the bid requirements for a new presidential limousine, which is set to debut during the 2017 inauguration of our nation's 45th chief executive. It's hard to believe that the General Motors-built Cadillac dubbed "The Beast" is already due for replacement, but the fleet of presidential limousines is cycled every four or eight years, with bids accepted from any American automaker. We'll spoil the show for you: the odds of a company other than General Motors winning the bid is pretty slim.
