New 6.0L Ford Powerstroke Basic EGR Delete Kit         2003-2007

Basic EGR delete kit by Pensacola Diesel for the 6.0L Ford Powerstroke Diesel (2003-2007).

MADE IN PENSACOLA,FL . USA

Do you want a completely leak-free and affordable EGR delete kit? Order your EGR delete kit today and before the summer heat takes its toll on your truck!

The EGR system operates by taking some of the exhaust gases and sends it back into the motor. The hot exhaust gases are cooled by your engine cooling system. The problem is that the coolant is heated up by trying to cool the hot exhaust. This makes your engine operate at a higher temperature. By eliminating the EGR and Cooler you are sending all your exhaust gases thru the turbo and your coolant is now able to do the job it was intended for, cooling the engine. Removing the EGR valve eliminates the chance of any blockages in the system. Removing the EGR valve may set off a check engine light. You will need to run a tuner to turn off the EGR system to eliminate the code/light. We have the lowest prices and best American made parts.

Tomorrow’s world: Fiat's MultiAir engine tech

Wed, 14 Oct 2009

By Jesse Crosse Motor Industry 14 October 2009 16:50 Fiat this year launches what it claims is a big step forward in variable valve timing: MultiAir. It's the first time that a manufacturer has made a properly variable valve system a production reality, and will slowly be rolled out across most of Fiat's and Alfa's car ranges. How does Fiat's MultiAir vary from existing variable valve timing (VVT) systems?Current VVT systems rely on mechanical systems to open and close the valves. Engineers have long understood the benefits of changing valve opening and closing times to tweak an engine's power and emissions performance, depending on the need for power or parsimony.Valves are an engine's nose and mouth – it inhales through inlet valves and exhales through exhaust valves.
