In the ’60s it worked – to a degree – but the 21st century iteration of the Europa was not a huge success. The trouble with the Europa was that buyers seemed to perceive it as what it was – a stop-gap before the Lotus Evora arrived.

Land Rover are still busy doing the final shakedown of the hybrid powerplant and have decided the best way is a high profile jaunt from Land Rover in Solihull to Mumbai in India following the ancient Silk Trail route to test the robustness of their new hybrid. So they garnered a trio of Range Rover hybrids – and support vehicles – enlisted a team consisting of Land Rover development engineers and motoring media from 10 countries, and set off from Solihull on 22nd August on the almost 10,000 mile expedition.
Design Contest: ANFIA announces Italian Styling - Young Designers Competition 2004

The competition is a biennial event run by the designers of the ANFIA Coachbuilders Group, who have set out to help discover new talent in the field of car design. The target of the initiative is to find and select new talents from all over the world, capable of interpreting and fostering the tradition of Italian automotive design.
