This auction is for a Set of Bare 353049  Heads......Both of these are dated 1973,, Date Code is B-26-73   B-27-73  Matched Set one day apart RARE!!   they have  2.07 intake from GM  exhaust are 1.72...,. 2  Hi Perf  BBC Heads .Open Chamber Heads.113CC...These heads have been Ported and Polished and would work Great with 2.19./1.88 Bigger Valves...They have not been flowed...or CC,d  but still should for sure perform better than the stock 049s.  They have not been Crazy ported but the chambers have had been smoothed out ,as well as all of the ruff factory casting in Exhaust and intake. 049s were Used on ,Chevelle,Camaro,Corvette,, 454 .....These heads  look to be in very good shape,,,These ARE Large Oval Port heads,, They need a valve job!, .These heads have been cked for cracks have none! have No  broken Bolts! They have had all holes Tapped and cleaned and are Nice heads,,Also cked for straightness, The 781s  were made 70--1978.,049s   1973---85...These heads will make great power on a flat top or HI Dome piston 454 Hot Rod Magazine has done Engines.that make up to 625 HP !!..W/049s,Almost Very Same Head as 781!!, of Course u would have to have right cam ,carb,headers.pistons to go W/ these heads to make this power!,.If u ship UPS.. these heads weigh 70 lbs each ..That's why shipping is HIGH!...., ,,  .ck my feedback,,Bid W/ confidence.,local & on e-bay.!,..  Yes After cking Gm Say The 781 and 049 Large Oval Ports Have The Most UnShrouded Or Uncovered and Open Valves of All there Castings For improved Performance! They get Clean Flow and Burn on Intake and Exhaust ,,that why they will RPM 7500 and make the Power They do,so that's why so many guys are saving money on these heads instead of buying aftermarket.They make Great power on Street And Strip Thanks!!or sure
