Rowan Atkinson’s McLaren F1 cost nearly £1 million to fix
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Rowan Atkinson pranged his McLaren F1 in 2011 in Cambridgeshire and now, after a repair bill of £910,00, it’s back. We all know what a petrolhead Black Adder and Mr Bean actor Rowan Atkinson is, and most of the car world knows he owns a McLaren F1, and that he had a nasty accident in it in 2011. McLaren MP4-12C Sets 7.28:00 at Nurburgring +video
Mon, 24 Oct 2011McLaren MP4-12C sets a time at the Nurburgring We’ve had a spate of claims for lap records at the Nurburgring by production cars, and the latest to play the game is the McLaren MP4-12C, with McLaren claiming a time of 7.28:00. Although we do have sympathy with our colonial cousins who believe its validity is greater than that of cars like the Radical.
Nissan recalls nearly one million vehicles for airbag problem
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Nissan is recalling nearly one million vehicles for a problem with the airbags. The occupant classification system (OCS) may incorrectly think that the passenger seat is empty when it is occupied by an adult, failing to activate the airbag in a collision. Cars affected include the 2013-2014 Leaf, Altima, Pathfinder and Sentra, as well as the 2013 NV200, 2013 JX35, 2014 QX60 and the 2014 Q50.
