I have not tested this unit, I expect it is probably a standard 12V connection but I haven't got one handy. Long range detection model and I don't see another like it being offered. Sold as is but the price is low and I don't see any obvious reason it would not operate.

Yet another flagship Ford technology has ended up on Consumer Reports' bad side. After roundly panning the MyFord Touch infotainment system, the magazine has now gone after EcoBoost, Ford's line of direct-injected turbocharged gasoline engines. CR went so far as to label the technology “Eco-Boast.” Me-ow.

Mini unveiled its Mini Cooper earlier this week, but this is the first time we've had a glimpse of it stateside. What's there to say about the Mini? Well, it's not so mini anymore -- it grows by 4.5 inches, 1.7 inches wider, and about half an inch taller.

Citroen has revealed the C-Zero, an electric city car based on Mitsubishi's i-MiEV, and a sibling to Peugeot's iOn. Well, Citroen and Peugeot are both now taken care of - Citroen's PSA partner Peugeot unveiled the iOn earlier this year - but the rebadged i-MiEV is an easy way for Citroen to add a zero-emissions vehicle to its range. The C-Zero is powered by a 47kW (64bhp) motor that also produces 133lb ft and sends the drive to the rear wheels.
