Bell-GP-2-Youth-Auto-Racing-Helmet-SFI-24-1-All-Sizes-Black

The GP.2 youth helmet is designed for young racers who need an extra small size helmet that is fire retardant. The GP.2 youth has the same design features as the adult GP.2 model. The GP.2 Youth is SFI 24.1 certified and available in sizes 4XS to XS. The SFI 24.1 standard is accepted by various youth and karting organizations including the Quarter Midget Association of America (QMA).

GP.2 Youth is a fantastic choice for young racers who demand great styling, superior features, light weight and excellent fit in a smaller configuration built specifically for kids. The GP.2 Youth features a front aero chin bar, a lightweight composite shell, pro-style interior neck collar for outstanding comfort, and a front air intake that forces air into the helmet's forehead vents for maximum ventilation. The .200mm GP.2 CMR air intake is replaceable and the helmet can be used without the air intake. The direct flow upper and lower chin bar vents on the front of the helmet help to increase airflow and prevent shield fogging.

The GP.2 Youth has been designed to work with Bell's aero kits to configure the helmet for all forms of kart racing depending on the aerodynamic requirements and environment. While the GP.2 Youth has a front aero lip and chin bar designed into the helmet, these aerodynamic kits enhance helmet performance to provide greater stability at higher speeds. The aerodynamic kits include top wicker gurneys which create an air separation point on the top of the helmet to allow airflow to detach from the helmet reducing buffeting, chin bar gurneys which add down force to the front of the helmet to prevent lift and rear spoilers that improve overall helmet stability. Because of the way airflow accelerates at higher speeds, Bell recommends using larger size gurneys at lower relative speeds and medium or smaller gurneys as speeds increase. The GP.2 Youth comes with an air intake as standard equipment that can be replaced as necessary. The aero kits attach with double sided adhesive that holds aggressively to the shell yet can be removed easily without damaging the helmet's finish.

*Accessories: Shields, Tearoffs, Han Post, etc. can be added to your order at an additional cost.

Measure the circumference of the head at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements. The largest measurement is the one you want to use. Please don't guess your size or go by the size of a previously owned helmet. Helmet manufactures vary in size.

2014 Jaguar F-Type video teaser drops ahead of Paris motor show

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

Readers have spotted both V6- and V8-powered examples of the upcoming Jaguar F-Type hiding in plain sight in the western United States. Spy photos might not satisfy our craving for detailed specifications on the sleek roadster—we won't know much more until the car debuts at the 2012 Paris motor show—but they have convinced us that the new Jaguar will be pleasing to the eye. The above teaser video suggests that the F-Type will be as attractive in motion as it is in still photos.

Infiniti at the Paris motor show 2008

Thu, 02 Oct 2008

By Ben Pulman Motor Shows 02 October 2008 09:35 Infiniti kicked off its Mondial de l'Automobile on the eve of the show by opening its Parisian dealership, the brand's first showroom in Western Europe. Sales started in Russia in 2006, but this was our first taste of how Nissan is going to scale Fortress Premium.  On the Avenue de Versailles, in an understated (and perhaps – whisper it – sterile bland) showroom and slap-bang next to a BMW dealer, executive vice president of Nissan Carlos Tavares outlined Infiniti’s ambitious expansion plans and confirmed new models for Europe. The range starts with the G37, which comes as a 3-series rival in saloon and coupe form, and our first drive of the latter confirmed it as a credible BMW rival.
