The Vortex GT is the latest version of the famous Vortex line of helmets from Bell. The Snell SA2010/FIA8858 Vortex GT offers high-end features and performance at an affordable price. The redesigned styling of the Vortex GT incorporates aggressive upper and lower chin bar vents, forehead vents and top vents for outstanding ventilation. With an ultra-lightweight carbon composite shell and pro-style interior for outstanding comfort, the Vortex GT is always up to the challenge and can be used in any style of racing.

The Vortex GT is certified to the Snell SA2010 and the FIA8858 standard. The FIA8858 certification requires the helmet to be tested for use with Head and Neck Restraint Devices. Bell's M6 terminal hardware is incorporated into the helmet and accepts Head and Neck Restraint anchor system hardware.

(We recommend consulting with the Head and Neck Restraint manufacturer to select an anchor system that allows the user to index the hardware in the proper location for use with the device.) The Vortex GT is compatible with FIA8858-2010 and is recognized by the FIA for use outside of North America.

The Vortex GT takes a 276 SRV Shield and each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment. The Vortex GT also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the Vortex GT by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. In addition, replacement face piece kits are available for the Vortex GT in the event the front interior chin piece needs to be replaced. The helmet is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish - the rubberized surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges than traditional flat finishes.

All returns must be sent prepaid--no collect shipments will be accepted. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss. We strongly suggest that you ship the package by United Parcel Ground Service (UPS) as it is traceable.

Wiedeking to be offered $140 million to quit Porsche, report says

Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking could be offered a $141 million (100 million euros) payoff to quit the sports car maker to make way for a merger with Volkswagen, Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported Friday. The newspaper said Wiedeking has been visited by Porsche Chairman Wolfgang Porsche in the past few days, who “made it clear” that the embattled CEO should step down. Wiedeking has come under fire for allowing Porsche's holding company to amass debts of more than $12.7 billion (9 billion euros) during a failed attempt to take over VW.
