The K.1's aero features enhance the helmet's aerodynamic stability in high-speed racing environments. The Snell SA2010 rated K.1 Sport is a great helmet for open wheel racers and kart racers who plan on moving into other forms of racing that require fire retardant interiors.

The K.1 Sport features a lightweight composite shell, comfortable interior fit and maximum ventilation with full chin bar, forehead and top vents. The K.1 Sport takes a 276 SRV Shield and each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment.

The K.1 Sport also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the K.1 Sport by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. The helmet is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish - the rubberized surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges than traditional flat finishes. The K.1 is pre-drilled for use with head and neck restraint devices.

McLaren P1: New photos & video of production P1

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

The McLaren P1 production car pictured hot weather testing We’ve had a surprising amount of McLaren P1 news in the last couple of weeks, with a claimed lap time at the Nurburgring that didn’t quite meet expectation, P1 customer Jay Leno getting to grips with the P1 at the Top Gear track  and the news that the P1 is all but sold out. Now, with the first P1s getting close to delivery (McLaren are about to start building customer cars at the rate of one a day), McLaren has released photos and video from their final stint of hot weather testing in the US, with a completely undisguised, production version P1. McLaren have been in the west of the US, where temperatures reach 52 degrees, putting the P1 through its paces in extreme heat in California, Nevada and Arizona, both on the road and at the Willow Springs International Raceway in California, just to be sure it doesn’t melt in the sun.

Toyota Mark X

Mon, 02 Nov 2009

The second generation Mark X made its debut at the Tokyo motor show late last month, furthering the sporty and luxurious theme initiated by the outgoing model. The redesigned rear-wheel-drive sedan was created around a 'glam tech' theme at Toyota's Japanese studios, combining a modern look with high-tech features . Overall, the design of the Mark X is a subtle contrast of dynamic elements paired with understated luxury.
