The base model with two-wheel drive is $30,995. Apparently the team at Hennessey Performance had a different opinion and took matters into their own hands, creating a supercharger package for the full-size SUV. The standard Lexus LX 570 already pumps out 383 hp and 403 lb-ft of torque courtesy of its 5.7-liter V8 engine, with power going to all four wheels.

Toyota Motor Corp. began road tests last week of a breathalyzer that is mounted on the instrument panel and locks a truck's ignition if it detects the driver has had too much to drink. The road tests involve 30 commercial vehicles.
