The helmet can be adapted to a top forced air model using Bell’s innovative kit system for those drivers that decide they want to use an external forced air unit. Based on the Star Infusion design and built on innovations first developed in the Bell Infusion, the Star Infusion NV is the ultimate in forced air helmet technology. Developed with feedback from the world's best NASCAR, Late Model and Modified drivers, the SA2010/FIA8858 Star Infusion is a great choice for racers who want a non-ventilated helmet with the option of using a forced air system if needed.

The Star Infusion NV is SA2010/FIA8858 certified, available in sizes 7 1/8 to 7 3/4 in white and rubberized matte black. The Star Infusion NV features and ultra-lightweight composite shell, high-tech aggressive aero styling and a pro-plus style interior that provides superior comfort. The pro-plus interior delivers a custom interior fit by combining Bell’s soft plush-density fit pad system, contoured cheek-grip pad system to reduce movement and integrated collar that is designed to fully support the driver’s lower jaw bone area. With the versatility of the Star Infusion NV, racers can decide if they want use the helmet as a non-ventilated model or top forced air model. Sold in the non-ventilated configuration, the helmet can be transformed into a top forced air helmet (top air kit sold separately). The Star Infusion NV incorporates Bell's ground-breaking air chamber technology to increase pressure and accelerate airflow (when used with an external forced air system) to maximize airflow for improved ventilation and comfort. In the top forced air configuration, the Star Infusion NV divides the air inflow evenly in vent channels that direct ventilation to the front of the helmet to cool the face and prevent shield fogging and into the top of the helmet liner, evenly dispersing airflow to cool the driver around the top of the head.

Accessories: Forced Air Adaptors, Shields, Tearoffs, Han Post, etc. can be added to your order at an additional cost.

NASCAR's sexy French past

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

In the post-Jean Girard era, your stereotypical NASCAR fan probably doesn't spend too much time thinking about France. Unless it's Bill France Sr., Bill France Jr., or Jim France, or Brian France, or Amy France. Ok, so NASCAR fans might actually think about Frances fairly often, but probably not the French Republic.

Spyker attempting to sell Saab real estate in money-raising move

Tue, 12 Apr 2011

The next chapter in the Saab cash crunch appears to involve Spyker selling Saab real estate to an unnamed financial institution, with the automaker leasing the property back for its operations. Saab has been forced to shut down production twice in the past few weeks in the wake of unpaid supplier bills, raising concerns that Dutch owner Spyker may be facing a liquidity crunch. The latest move is likely aimed at freeing capital for the automotive operations while the company negotiates for a loan with the help of the Swedish government.
