2012 Lamborghini Aventador completes a mad trio of supercars headed to market

If you thought the struggling global economy or high fuel prices might be hurting the world's supply of top-notch supercars, think again. Since March, AutoWeek editors have taken the wheel of not one, not two, but three of the most insane superperformers on the planet: the McLaren MP4-12C, the Ferrari FF, and most recently, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Nearly half of male drivers admit to having fallen asleep at the wheel, a survey has found. Road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found that 31% of all drivers admit to ‘head-nodding’ at the wheel – meaning they’ve fallen asleep while driving a car for between two and 30 seconds. The new Range Rover Sport (pictured) makes its dynamic debut at Goodwood FoS It feels like the 2014 Range Rover Sport has been with us for quite a while already, but apart from it’s brief sojourn through New York in the hands of James Bond, it’s not really be seen in action in public. At least not in the UK. The new RRS has been seen strutting its on-road prowess at the Pikes Peak hillcimb in the States, but next weekend visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed will get to see the new Sport as it tackles the hillclimb to demonstrate that it has not just shiny off-road credentials, but impressive on-road ones too.
