Peugeot are increasing production of the 2008 compact SUV (pictured) to meet demand We have a bit of a soft spot for a number of Peugeots, and we were convinced that the 2008 compact SUV would be a winner for PSA. And it seems it is. When we revealed UK prices for the 2008 last month, we commented that we thought Peugeot’s target of selling 8,000 a year in the UK was a modest one, and it appears Peugeot is quickly discovering the 2008 is even more popular than they’d hoped.

Ferrari is following the new SRT Viper playbook by leaking out bits and pieces of its 599 successor on various Internet pages. The darkened photo shown comes from Ferrari.com, while the video was released at the company's media site. Not much information has been shared about the car.

Chevrolet ups the apps for MyLink infotainment system

Soon owners of new Chevrolet vehicles like the Corvette, Equinox, Impala, Malibu, Volt, and Silverado will be able to download a range of different apps directly to their vehicles through MyLink. This will be made possible by General Motors' deployment of high-speed 4G LTE connectivity through OnStar, which will allow software to be downloaded directly to the car's infotainment system. Owners will be able to select and download apps though the Chevrolet AppShop, which will be accessible through an icon on the MyLink screen.
