Bendix/king Kn-64 Dme With Tray & Connector on 2040-parts.com
Pollock Pines, California, United States

I just took this out - please see photo of unit working in panel before removal. Comes with tray and connector. I did snip the sheet metal of the tray in two places (two cuts) to get it out - see photos. In my opinion this doesn't structurally affect the tray, but you decide. Here is the original info: 1.3" high flat-pack, DME unit its own frequency selection knobs and KN-64 is not TSO'd, while the KN-62A is TSO'd |

Lexus LFA and IS-F on track at Bruntingthorpe
Sat, 21 May 2011Lexus LFA and IS-F joust on track at Buntingthorpe Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that the first Lexus LFA in the UK had put in an appearance at Goodwood to delight the Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club. The visit to Goodwood made it clear that Lexus were treating the LFA as a serious performance car, and not just a rich man’s toy (although it is a rich man’s toy), so we wondered where Lexus UK would go next with their very own LFA. Would they trot it up to Lexus Park Lane and put it on show for the temptation of the passing wealthy, or would they plough on with putting the LFA in front of real (if wealthy) petrolheads?
Cadillac XTS 'choreographed' LED lighting explained [w/video]
Tue, 28 Feb 2012The introduction of LED lighting into vehicle lamp graphics has seen manufacturers strive to create their own identifiable lighting signatures. Cadillac, for example, is looking to take this one step further with the introduction of LEDs throughout the XTS, rather than just within its light clusters. Designed to greet drivers through a choreographed sequence, 20 separate light sources begin their routine once the key fob is pressed.
Porsche uses phone-formatted bar codes to connect with customers
Tue, 12 Jul 2011Porsche is harnessing the power of smartphones, using Microsoft Tag bar codes to provide dealership customers with unique information about the cars they're looking at. Buyers can scan the square stickers with a properly equipped phone, and the application will take them to dedicated microsites where they can see stats, videos and pictures of the car, along with audio clips of a flat-six engine revving up. Through the microsite, buyers can provide contact info for a follow-up call from Porsche salespeople.
