Maserati GranTurismo S Auto gets a Sports Pack

Wed, 03 Aug 2011

Maserati GranTurismo S Auto - now with Sport Pack for an extra £4k The Maserati GranTurismo S Auto is Maserati’s best-selling car in the UK, and you can see why. It’s good looking in that slightly odd combination of butch and dainty that certain Italian cars manage so well, it’s performance is decent without being earth-shattering and – certainly compared to any other Italian you could consider remotely ’Exotic’ – it’s more sensibly priced, at the right side of £100k. But if there are criticisms to be levelled against the GrandTurismo S they perhaps revolve around its slightly ‘soft’ nature.

Jaguar to build more R-S and R-S GT models

Tue, 07 May 2013

Not only that, but Jaguar has also replaced the XJ Supersport with a more focused XJR that offers proper dynamics and a more clearly defined appeal than the Supercpsort. All opf which points to Jaguar’s plans to offer cars in their range that have true performance credentials to take on the might of BMW’s M Division and Mercedes AMG. That has been made even clearer by Jaguar’s Wayne Burgess who has told Edmunds that Jaguar will be pushing the envelope further and deeper across the Jaguar range with more R-S models in the planning as well as More R-S GT models too.

Citroen Cactus Concept heading for Frankfurt Motor Show

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Citroen Cactus Concept tease It may be the teasing season for car makers as we head for the Frankfurt Motor Show, but Citroen are giving very little away in their tease for a new concept – the Citroen Cactus Concept. The Cactus Concept – a name used before by Citroen in 2007 for the C-Cactus Hybrid – shows what looks to be a compact car with some of the design features at the front we’ve seen on the new C4 Picasso. But with what looks to be chunky plastic cladding round the extremities of the Cactus, we’re guessing Citroen see the Cactus as some sort of small urban warrior, complete with bumpers that bounce back after supermarket trolley collisions with reference in the video to an ‘Air Bump’.
