Cost of driving theory test to drop by 25%

Mercedes-Benz The government has announced that the cost of the driving theory test is to be cut by 25%, saving learner drivers in excess of £100 million over the next nine years. How much does the driving theory test cost? Under the new plans the cost of a car theory driving test will drop from £31 to £25 in October 2014, with a further drop of £2 more planned in October 2015.

G-Power pushes BMW M5 to 228 mph

This could be the first speed record broken this year, with plenty more to come. BMW tuner G-Power has taken the blazing-fast BMW M5 and added two superchargers, an intercooler, forged pistons and some other bits and pieces. The result is a 750-hp, 228-mph missile that topped the Brabus Rocket on the speed chart.

Acura NSX details emerge

This morning we know a little bit more about the return of the NSX, which will wear the Acura badge in this incarnation, including where it will be made: Marysville, Ohio. Specifically, in a building adjacent to Honda's Marysville auto plant. The 184,000-square-foot building was once Honda's North American logistics facility, before that it was a seat factory and at one time Honda made transmissions inside.
