Parents worried over school run safety
Tue, 13 May 2014MORE THAN 40% of parents of five to 11-year-olds say their child has been involved in a near-miss while walking or cycling to or from school, according to a survey. Road safety is more of a concern to parents than "stranger danger", the survey from sustainable transport charity Sustrans also found. A total of 470 parents who have a child aged five to 11 who travels to and from school were polled.

The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.
UK car manufacturing to hit record high by 2015

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders forecasts that car production is set to top 2 million a year in three years' time. That's enough to eclipse the 1.92m record set forty years ago in 1972.
