Citroen at the Paris motor show 2008
Thu, 02 Oct 2008By James Foxall Motor Shows 02 October 2008 11:59 Citroen is one of the show stealers this year with a stunning-looking concept car that you can actually drive, courtesy of a tie-up with PlayStation. But the firm’s stand had something for everyone, with 34 models including the new C3 Picasso, BMW X6-like Hypnos concept and even a hybrid World Rally Championship car. Dream – Cars of the Future Since 1950
Fri, 28 Nov 2008The city of Turin has been celebrating as World Design Capital 2008 this year with a series of over 200 separate events and exhibitions. One of the highlights has been a series of three themed shows running throughout the year, entitled '20th Century', 'Speed' and 'Dream'; the final exhibition of this trilogy. Housed at the Giovanni Agnelli Espositione - the wonderful Nervi-designed hall on Corso Massimo D'Azeglio that used to host the Salone di Torino in the 1950s - 'Dream' is a fabulous exhibition but, regrettably, one that hasn't been well publicized outside of Turin city.
Insurance interest costs motorists millions
Fri, 24 Jan 2014BRITISH drivers are paying £682 million more than they should be for their car insurance by paying monthly. Most insurers charge a high rate of interest for the privilege of spreading payments out over the year, with the average pay-monthly customer hit by an additional £88. Almost a third of people (31%) pay their car insurance by monthly direct debit, market research from Consumer Intelligence has discovered.
