That said, I personally sealed the last hundred, and I recall about 3 missing it. We have since found more, so just let us know! Wed, 18 Sep 2013Renault's design chief Laurens van den Acker and his design team have stressed how the Initiale Paris concept previews how Renault design's tactics will help steer clear of its rivals within the premium segment. The concept – the sixth to be developed in the design strategy inspired by the cycle of life, now in the Wisdom stage – heralds Renault's return to the high-end market after a number of years. It was, therefore, important that the design be a positive rejection of traditional ideas of luxury, design director of concept cars Axel Breun believes. Designer Choung Sun Oh goes to great pains to stress how the design team worked towards developing a highly original design to set them apart from rivaling brands upon re-entry.
Toyota Avensis, Prius & Corolla recall affects 75,000 UK cars
Wed, 14 Nov 2012Toyota is recalling 75,000 Corolla, Avensis and Prius models in the UK – and 2.7 million worldwide – to fix a steering fault. Last month, Toyota revealed a recall for the Auris, RAV4 and Yaris to fix a fault with electric window switches, and just to make sure those cars weren’t the only faulty Toyota’s, they’ve managed to find a fault with the steering on the Corolla Avensis and Prius. Oh, and the Prius might have a water pump problem.
McLaren P1 GTR OFFICIALLY previewed – debuts at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
Fri, 25 Jul 2014The McLaren P1 GTR (pictured) will debut at Pebble Beach 2014 We learnt last month that McLaren had decided to produce a P1 for the track – a la the Ferrari FXX programme – and in the process revive the GTR moniker from the iconic McLaren F1 GTR to create the new McLaren P1 GTR. Now McLaren are previewing the debut of the P1 GTR at next month’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with a design sketch of the P1 GTR ahead of its real life reveal in California. Following in the giant steps of the F1 GTR – and those of the road-going P1 – will be no easy task, but what’s on offer certainly offers lots of promise.
