This is a BINKS tube axial exhaust fan.
Fan model no. is 30 - 2406.
Drive motor is a RELIANCE Explosion proof, for CLASS 1 - GROUP D and CLASS 2 - GROUP F & G locations.
Motor is 1 1/2 HP. 3 PH. 1740 RPM. Motor has multi-tap wiring hook ups for 208-230/460 volt. Full load amp rating: 6.2 amp/3.1 amp.
In one of the pictures, the fan is running, temporarily wired up at 230 volt. Amp-probe reading is about 5 amps.
Made for venting flammable/explosive areas, such as spray paint booths, flammable storage areas etc.
Fan is 24" size. Has two mounting rings attached on each end for angle ring mounting in duct system, or bolting directly to paint booth.
Has a cast aluminum constructed, non sparking blade.
Fan is built to Factory Mutual standards, and is approved by same.
V - belt drive. Belt is in very good condition, very little wear.
The fan motor range is 1/3 HP to 3 HP.
Fan CFM. = 7,920 @ 0" static pressure (with 1 1/2 HP motor).
Fan CFM range: 4,600 CFM to 10,005 CFM depending on motor/drive size.
Fan has areas that are scratched and dented/creased. Some areas have light surface rust. Not sure if the areas show up in the pictures.
Fan is in good usable condition. Fan v-belt very good condition.
I checked in the Grainger book for a similar fan, item 7F833 has a cost of $2,018.00. Not near the quality of the BINKS fan.
