Up for auction is a 1965 Blaupunkt KV900 Short Wave Adaptor which was commonly installed in Porsche 356's (and, I believe, VW's). This adaptor was not a factory accessory but rather a popular aftermarket accessory. Please note I have not tested this adaptor so I cannot verify it is in working order. However, my father purchased this many years ago from a local reputable radio dealer and he was assured it was in working order (he never installed it and so it remains untested from when he purchased it). Included with this adaptor is the original manual. The manual is complete and easily readable but there are tears along some of the page seams. The chrome on the front of the adaptor is dull but when I test polished a small section it came back to a high shine so I presume the entire front fascia can be easily brought back to a high luster. All of the push knobs work - the left-most knob is cracked. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to provide an honest answer.

2012 Bentley Continental GTC raises £240k for Children in Need The 2012 Bentley Continental GTC was only revealed at Frankfurt in September, and is currently getting its North American debut in L.A.  But Bentley have already sold one to a generous UK buyer who stumped up £240k at a charity auction last night in aid of BBC Children in Need. The event – at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel and organised by Bentley Manchester – was hosted by the seemingly ubiquitous Gary Barlow, and had in attendance a plethora of celeb faces, including Lorraine Kelly, JLS, Chris Moyles and – as it’s Children in Need – Sir Tel of Wogan.

While it's not known what the production car will look like when it starts going to customers either this fall--according to the press release--or "before the start of the 2011 racing season," according to AMG's Thomas Rappel, the prototype shown in Oaxaca had a full roll cage, a new front skirt with splitter, rear diffusers and an enormous rear wing.
