Mon, 10 Sep 2012

We’ve had our first taste of the 2013 SRT Viper on-track at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Mich., which you can read about here. Now we know about how much it will cost to put the new V10 sports car in your garage.

The SRT Viper starts at $99,390, which includes $1,995 for destination but doesn’t include a gas-guzzler tax that’s still being finalized. The most basic Viper features a fixed Bilstein suspension, fabric-covered Sabelt seats, vinyl-wrapped console and door panels, napa leather-wrapped dash, nine-speaker sound system and an 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen to control entertainment functions and Bluetooth phone and streaming audio.

Premium Viper GTS models begin at $122,390 including destination costs. Highlighting the GTS are a dual-mode Bilstein adjustable suspension, four-mode stability-control system, exclusive two-outlet carbon fiber hood and six-spoke wheels. The cabin benefits from more napa leather; contrast stitching on the seats, console and door panels; 12-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system; HD radio; navigation; and rear backup camera.

SRT dealers will begin accepting orders for the 2013 Viper in November, with deliveries expected to begin at the end of December or early January.
