Audi A3 Cabriolet signs off with A3 Cabriolet Sport and S line Final Edition Models

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Audi signals the end of the current A3 Cabriolet with two run-out models – the A3 Cabriolet Sport and S line Final Edition. Price from 23,775.

The end of the current Audi A3 Cabriolet is fast approaching, but not before Audi wring out extra sales this spring (yes, spring really isn’t that far off) with the launch of a pair of final edition A3 Cabriolets.

The Final Exition A3 Cabriolets are based on the existing A3 Sport and S Line specifications, but come with extra equipment and a bigger price tag – but not as big a price tag as there would be if you specced up the existing models.

The A3 Cabriolet Sport Final Edition rips out the cloth upholstery  of the current Sport and replaces it with Vienna Leather as well as adding heated seats, rear parking sensors, auto lights and wipers, Cruise and Bluetooth.

The A3 Cabriolet Sport Final Edition will cost you from £23,775 for the 1.2 TFSI version rising to £28,180 for the 2.0 TFSI version. That’s a rise of £2,340 from the current Sport, but you’re saving £1,605 by opting for the Final Edition instead of speccing up the regular Sport.

The A3 Cabriolet S line Final Edition gets a similar jump in spec from the regular model, with full Vienna leather, 18″ S Line alloys, xenon headlights with daytime LEDs, DVD SatNav the Audi Music Interface iPod connection and BOSE sound.

The S Line version of the Final Edition will cost you from £26,201 for the 1.2 TFSI version up to £30,615 for the 2.0 litre TFSI. That’s a premium of £2,435 over the Sport Final Edition, but a saving of £3,640 over speccing up a regular A3 Cab.

Both Final Edition versions of the A3 Cabriolet come with a choice of three petrol engines - 1.2 TFSI with 105PS, the 1.8 TFSI with 160PS and the 2.0 TFSI with 200PS – and two diesels - 1.6 TDI with 105PS and the 2.0 TDI with 140PS – and are now on sale.
