Electric Kia Soul EV review: in pictures

Electric cars haven’t been embraced with the enthusiasm that the manufacturers hoped for. Early adopters loved them, but then it all seemed to fizzle out. The limited range between recharging can’t be overlooked. And price is also a big issue even though every manufacturer is, we reckon, losing money on each electric car they sell today.

Yet step-by-step EVs – electric vehicles – are getting better. The mileage on a full charge is creeping up and the other compromises are becoming, well, smaller compromises.

We have been to Seoul in South Korea to drive Kia’s new all-electric Kia Soul, which goes on sale late in 2014 – so how does it compare?
