Falcon F7 spotted in the wildFri, 05 Apr 2013
The Falcon F7 made its debut at the 2012 Detroit auto show. Since then, we haven't seen it. We were offered a test drive, but Falcon Motorsports cancelled it an hour before the appointed time, leaving us to wonder what happened.
We've seen plenty of supercar start-ups come and go, but the F7 looked at least somewhat promising. A weight under 2,800 pounds, a 620-hp GM small block mounted just behind the driver, and some decent-looking bodywork caused a lot of enthusiasts to take notice.
An Autoweek reader spotted this -- apparently -- running, driving F7 on the street in Birmingham, Mich. Hopefully, it's a sign that Falcon Motorsports is still moving forward with its plan to build an all-American supercar.
