It’s probably best to think of Neiman Marcus as the US Harrods. Posh stuff at high prices. And each year they have the Neiman Marcus Christmas book – full of extravagant gift ideas for those who just can’t think of enough ways to spend their cash – which includes a special Neiman Marcus car. And this year it’s the Ferrari FF Neiman Marcus Edition.

In recent years Neiman Marcus has offered a Chevy Camaro Convertible and a Jaguar XJ, but this year the well-heeled customers of Neiman Marcus can grab one of just 10 Neiman Marcus Ferrari FF specials for the ultimate way to blat round in the snow on Christmas day.

The Neiman Marcus version of the FF comes at something of a premium to a regular FF – a $75,000 premium, to be exact.

For your extra $75k you will get a numbered plaque (that’ll make your Christmas special) and a special paint job in Grigio Caldo. You’ll also get a semi-analine interior with a matching set of luggage. Is that enough to justify an extra $75k? Not in the real world, but in the world of Neiman Marcus it’s peanuts.

Of course, you will also get a 6.0 litre Ferrari V12 with 660bhp, Ferrari’s very clever 4WD system, o-62mph in 3.7 seconds and 7 years of free servicing.
